Overview

The 007e ECM replaces the standard PSC motor with an electronically commutated motor that automatically adjusts speed based on system demand. Lower energy consumption at partial load — which is most of the time in a well-designed hydronic system.

Drop-in replacement for all existing 007 installations. Same footprint, flange pattern, and connection sizes.

Technology

ECM motors are brushless DC motors with a built-in inverter. Unlike PSC motors that run at fixed speed, ECM motors modulate continuously — reducing energy use by up to 85% compared to single-speed alternatives.

SureStart® monitors motor torque at startup and automatically reverses briefly to clear air locks. Bio Barrier® coating on wetted components inhibits biofilm growth in domestic recirculation applications.
